TF Rescue

How many
police officers do you know who
carry a folding lock blade knife
“to cut someone out of their
seatbelt if their car is on
fire”? The TF Rescue was
designed for public safety
personnel, from policemen to
firemen to paramedics and
mountain rescue workers. The
manual folding lock-blade is long
enough to perform all required
cutting chores while the
automatically deployed deep-V
double razor edge will safely
cut cords, nylon webbing,
clothes, etc. When your life –
or even more importantly, the
life of someone you’re trying to
save – depends on an extreme
quality SAFE cutting took, make
it the TF Rescue.
Overall Length: 7 1/2 inches
Blade Length: 3 3/4 inches
Weight: 7.8 ounces
This tool is composed of a
central body with a function of
handle and of seat of two
folding blades hinged at its
ends. The primary blade,
beak-shaped, opens like shears
of 55 degrees while showing a
third blade fixed on the central
body with whom it forms an
upside down V. The
spring-opening takes place
trough the pressure on a
push-button jutting out on a
side of the central body. Its
function consists in selecting
and shearing cables, ropes and
belts in tension even if
close-fitting to the body. The
secondary blade, less
specialized, turns the tool into
a folder of general use. The
opening of this blade is
effected by keeping the pin
fixed on the blade with the
thumb and making it rotate on
the outside until it is stopped
by the block that prevents its
closing if the lever encased on
the back of the tool is not
pressed. Also this opening can
be effected by one hand. The
tool is also supplied, at the
opposite end of the rope cutter
beak, with a hardened steel
taper pin turning the T.F.RESCUE
into a crystal-breaker hammer.
